Download and Installation Options
Installation Steps
-
1
Download the APK or open the web appStep 1
On Android, tap the Android APK button above; your device downloads the file to your Downloads folder. On iOS, tap iOS Web App; your device opens Safari or your default browser directly to our login page.
-
2
Install (Android only) or allow notifications (iOS/Web)Step 2
On Android, open Settings > Security, enable Unknown sources, then tap the downloaded APK file and follow the prompts. On iOS and web, grant permission for push notifications when prompted so you receive alerts for deposits, withdrawals, and game updates.
-
3
Create or log in to your accountStep 3
If you are a new user, tap Open an account and complete the registration form (username, email, password, mobile number). If you already have a monaco99 account, enter your username or email and password to sign in.
-
4
Complete KYC verification and start playingStep 4
We request your legal name, date of birth, and identity document number (KTP, passport, or driver's license). Verification typically completes within hours. Once approved, you can deposit and access all live-dealer tables, slots, and sportsbook markets on the app.
Native App vs. Browser: Which Should You Use?
We at monaco99 recommend the native Android app for the best experience because it offers offline access to your account history, game library, and settings—useful if your internet connection drops briefly. The app also caches recent live-dealer streams so you can resume watching a table within seconds if you lose connection. Push notifications on the app alert you immediately when a deposit clears or a withdrawal is processed, whereas browser notifications depend on your device's notification settings. The app runs faster than the browser because it does not need to load the full web page each time you switch games; it loads only the game assets you need. On iOS, we recommend the web app (accessed via Safari or your default browser) because iOS restrictions prevent direct APK installation. The web app provides all the same features as the native app, including live-dealer access, slots, sportsbook markets, and account management. Performance is nearly identical; the only trade-off is that you must open your browser each time you want to access monaco99.
Two-factor authentication on mobile
We recommend enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) on your account, especially on mobile. 2FA requires a one-time code from your phone to log in, protecting your account if someone obtains your password. You can enable 2FA in your account settings after registration.
Device Compatibility
Our Android app requires Android 7.0 or later. Most phones manufactured in the last five years meet this requirement; check your device settings (Settings > About > Android Version) to confirm. On iOS, the web app works on iOS 12 and later, which covers iPhone 5S and newer devices. If your device is older, you may experience slower performance or compatibility issues with live-dealer streams. We recommend devices with at least 2GB of RAM and a stable 4G or WiFi connection for optimal live-dealer performance. Our sportsbook and slots work on lower-bandwidth connections, but live video streams (blackjack, roulette, baccarat, Dragon Tiger, Sic Bo) require consistent bandwidth to avoid freezing or lag.
Troubleshooting Common Installation Issues
On Android, if you see a warning "Unknown source" during installation, go to Settings > Security and enable Unknown sources (or Allow apps from unknown sources, depending on your Android version). This does not compromise security; it simply allows you to install the APK from outside the Google Play Store. If the APK does not install, your device storage may be full—delete unused apps or files and try again. On iOS, if the web app does not load in Safari, clear your browser cache (Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data), then re-open the link. If you see a certificate warning when accessing the app, this indicates a network issue on your device or your internet provider's network. Use a different network (switch from WiFi to mobile data or vice versa) to verify the problem is not with one connection. If the app crashes when you open a live-dealer table, try force-closing the app (Android: Settings > Apps > monaco99, tap Force Stop; iOS: swipe up from the bottom and swipe up the app). Then reopen it and wait for the live stream to load completely before tapping any buttons.
Data, Permissions, and Account Security
The monaco99 app requests permission to access your device's camera (for identity document upload during KYC), microphone (if you choose to enable audio on live-dealer tables), and location (to verify you are in a supported jurisdiction). We do not collect your location data continuously; we check your location only during account setup and when you log in from a new device. Your personal data—legal name, email, phone, identity document, and payment method—is encrypted in transit using HTTPS and stored on secure servers with access controls. We do not share your data with third parties except where required by law or where necessary to process your deposits and withdrawals. We recommend enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) in your account settings after registration; this requires a one-time code sent to your phone each time you log in, preventing unauthorised access even if someone learns your password. Change your password regularly (at least every three months) and never share it with anyone, including our support team. If you suspect unauthorised access to your account, change your password immediately and contact our support team via live chat.
